42 North Photography is a small photography business based in Eagle Grove, Iowa. What started as a hobby has turned itself into a passion.
Whether I am photographing the Northern Lights, a stunning landscape, families, or local flora, I am happy. Photography is my way of showing the world the beauty that I find in it. It is my way of telling a story.
The biggest compliment that I can receive as a photographer, is that a photo that I have taken has elicited an emotional response in you. Whether it is bringing back a memory or admiring the technicalities, my goal is to help you, the viewer, feel something.

About Me
Born and raised in San Diego, CA, I have had the opportunity to live many different places across the United States. That alone has allowed me to see how vast this country is.
I currently reside in Eagle Grove, IA. Living in the Midwest has been a culture shock in many ways, not the least of which is learning about the existence of cinnamon rolls with chili.
To many, this region of the country is bland and flat, but to me, there are so many little details in places that are so easily missed. It is wonderfully beautiful in its own special way.
